FOUNDER AND CHAIRMAN
I am proud to present Linde Martin – an American Master, an excellent collection of original abstract paintings. We dedicate these selected works online for you to admire and discover “your own personal symbols and images.”
Linde Martin was a great American master, not just because her works are adorned around the world in public museums, universities, churches, famous galleries, noted private collections or she was featured in books like Best of oil paintings 1996, Best inspirational of 1997, Who is who in the west 1997/1998, but her originality, creativity, style and experimentation is so visually stunning it defies contemporary methods of modern abstract painting. Her work is distinctive, awe inspiring and is genuinely heartwarming for art lovers in America and beyond and will be for many generations to come.
The Linde Martin Institute was established to preserve, endorse and showcase her works as an American gift to the art world. We are thrilled to make art lovers and collectors around the world accessible to this great American master creative work.
Being a passionate collector, I have travelled the world to visit selected museums and galleries. I am seldom impressed by typical abstract painting. But Linde’s work was a different kind of magical journey. I was inspired by the first visit to her gallery in Carmel, California. The original works of dark vibrant colored canvases over projected lights as it was that ruminates in me. Even years after being her largest private collector I still get the same enchanted feeling with each of her canvases “as I look into them.”
Linde invites you “to go onto the canvas and into yourself to see and experience all the wonder, beauty, emotion and spirit that are there.” I am so delighted to extend that invitation to you.
If you would like to visit our main gallery in Reno, please contact our office for current shows and schedule to make your personal or group tour appointment. We look forward to seeing you soon. Thank you.
